About The Position

The Vision Q&C Intern position is a Summer 2027 internship opportunity at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on Quality and Compliance within the Vision team. This role offers hands-on experience in a technologically advanced corporate environment, developing skills in business, engineering, and science. The internship provides real-life experience, coaching, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Interns will be assigned to a specific function with a project for a 12-week duration, from May/June to August 2027. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and requires onsite work, with potential for hybrid schedules and relocation assistance. The Q&C professionals at J&J are dedicated to protecting and strengthening the organization by ensuring stakeholder needs are met and exceeded, focusing on efficiency, risk reduction, compliance, problem-solving, and process improvement tools like Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Math, Chemistry, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, Biostatistics, Environmental Science - ENGINEERING: i.e. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Biomedical, Information Systems: (i.e. Data Analytics, Database Management, System administration, analyst, etc.), Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• You must not have any Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment that could interfere with the contract dates specified for this position.
• Ability to provide transportation to/from the work location is required.
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering results.
• Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goals.
• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
• Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
• If you are under 18 years of age, you (the candidate) may need to obtain the necessary working papers or other documentation required by state law to start the assignment, as well as get a parent’s consent for the background check.
