Vision Pro Display Technology Engineer
About The Position
In this role, you will be the focal point of defining next-gen architecture for Apple Vision products. The position allows you to work on wide range of topics including prototyping, hardware & silicon definition, software & algorithm development, hands-on characterization, concept demo to executives. Compare and scope display and optics technologies, analyze the trade-offs between performance, manufacturability and cost. Define architecture for new display technologies with understanding of system requirement, display & optical behavior, human perception. Define detailed specs including the display panel, driving ASICs, software/firmware algorithms and test/calibration procedure. Promote innovation and new technology to improve Apple's display performance and user experience.
Requirements
- BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in display backplane design
- Experience in display pipeline
- Experience in image processing
- Experience in digital single processing
- Experience in display architecture electrical and optical modeling
- Bachelor's degree minimum in Electrical engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant proven experience
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience collaborating efficiently across internal teams and vendors teams
- Capability in theoretical analysis
- Capability in system characterization and modeling
- Hands-on experimental ability with prototyping experience
