OCO Virtualization Product Manager - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
About The Position
The Virtualization Product Manager will be responsible for building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch, aligning product strategies with the OCO PMO’s vision, developing roadmaps, and prioritizing features for virtualization and containerization platforms. This role involves facilitating interactions between all stakeholders, actively engaging with the team, and understanding team needs to provide them with the necessary resources. The Product Manager will work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements. Comprehensive training will be provided on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere, administering Kubernetes clusters, and utilizing the NATS.io messaging system. Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing a best-in-class cybersecurity program is also a key aspect of this role.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Requires current CI poly within last seven (07) years.
- Twelve (12) years of Experience with a Bachelors Degree or Sixteen (16) years with HS Diploma; significant portion of experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak, MinIO, and Vault.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services.
- Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in development of products and/or management in a development environment.
Nice To Haves
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Utilize the NATS.io messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Design, implement, and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program.
