About The Position
The Virtual Telesitter is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to play a vital role in our health care team. If you are a strong communicator, enjoy collaborative work environments, and have excellent prioritization skills, this is the role for you. As a Virtual Telesitter at MultiCare you will provide first-line support for at-risk patients. You will maintain patient safety allowing the entire nursing staff to achieve the best of health care management and outcomes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
- Current BLS certification
- Successful completion of monitoring equipment class within one (1) month of hire
- Previous patient care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous remote monitoring and observation of assigned patients
- Support patients with verbal redirection to avoid engaging in at-risk behaviors
- Partner with nursing staff in full collaboration
- Utilize your independent decision-making skills within a supportive environment
- Manage appropriate supplemental documentation for observation periods
