As a Virtual Tax Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for our do-it-yourself clients, guiding them through their tax questions with clarity, empathy, and confidence. You'll collaborate with a remote team of tax professionals to deliver fast, accurate, and friendly support primarily through chat-based interactions, helping customers confidently navigate tax situations and our digital tax preparation products.

Demonstrated tax knowledge through tax preparation experience, tax education, tax support experience.
Customer service experience in a professional environment.
Successful completion of required H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessments.
A quiet, dedicated workspace and a reliable internet connection.
Ability to work from an approved secure remote work location that meets company security and privacy requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience preparing individual income tax returns.
Experience supporting customers in a contact center, chat support, or digital service environment.
Experience working in a retail tax office, tax firm, financial services organization, or tax-related support role.
Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, attorney, AFSP participant, or other tax credentials.

Responsibilities
