About The Position
Proximity Learning is looking for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students during the current school year. This fully remote opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success from anywhere. We’re seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional who thrives in a virtual environment and is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology
- Ability to effectively assess student speech through virtual platforms
- Comfortable using virtual tools and technology for communication and data tracking
- Flexible availability during school-day hours across time zones

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions and maintain progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders on student progress
- Provide regular updates and recommend strategies to support communication development
- Reevaluate students in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
