About The Position

Proximity Learning is looking for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students during the current school year. This fully remote opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success from anywhere. We’re seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional who thrives in a virtual environment and is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois SLP license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology
• Ability to effectively assess student speech through virtual platforms
• Comfortable using virtual tools and technology for communication and data tracking
• Flexible availability during school-day hours across time zones

Nice To Haves

• ASHA CCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K–12 students
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs
• Conduct virtual therapy sessions and maintain progress documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders on student progress
• Provide regular updates and recommend strategies to support communication development
• Reevaluate students in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
