About The Position

The Licensed School Psychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the building-based Student Support Team in providing services to students. This role involves conducting virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines, including the virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards. The psychologist will also conduct other portions of the evaluation, such as interviews, virtual observations, and adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments. The position requires integrating assessment results into comprehensive evaluation reports, presenting findings at meetings, and collaborating with school teams regarding eligibility determination. The role also includes participating in training and meetings as needed, attending Evaluation meetings, and serving as a member on the MTSS/RTI Team.

Requirements

  • Professional Indiana Psychologist License
  • Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
  • Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
  • Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated

  • Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
  • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
  • Familiarity with evaluation tools
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
  • Complete Initial Evaluation and Re-evaluations
  • Complete Assessment Plans, Review of Records and FBAs
  • Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
  • Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
  • Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
  • Present evaluation findings at meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
  • Participate in training and meetings as needed
  • Attend Evaluation meetings to discuss results of assessments
  • Serve as a member on the MTSS/RTI Team
