About The Position

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a talented Virtual Sales Specialist to join their team. This role involves selling to existing clients and building relationships with new clients primarily through remote means such as telephone, video conferencing, and online meetings. While the sales activities are virtual, this is an in-person position based in York, PA.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-5+ years of selling experience required
  • Strong hunter mindset with the ability to independently build and manage a pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High level of maturity and professionalism, able to represent the company confidently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experienced in the use of virtual/digital/remote sales techniques and with digital working methods is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience working with CRM tools & MS Office applications preferred.
  • A proven track record of sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience in independently managing a dedicated customer base.
  • Sales experience within medical product/services is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management and operations is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of dental products and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with a targeted customer group based on regional focus, driving ongoing sales relationships.
  • Initiate and cultivate customer contacts to manage and close deals effectively.
  • Effectively identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell by product area (understand value props).
  • Create compelling quotes that highlight both commercial value and technical benefits.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts that align with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional post-sales service to exceed customer expectations and maintain agreed service levels.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
  • Input to account planning and collaboration with VAM and field sales teams.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across product lines and business units.
  • Follow service model per customer segment as defined by the team managers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and provide in-depth product knowledge to potential clients.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners as needed in the selling process.
  • Foster and maintain deep relationships and partnerships with the Sales teams and externally with customers, ensuring sustained collaboration and customer engagement beyond initial sales interactions.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Identify and initiate cross-sell and upsell opportunities in assigned accounts.
  • Lead generation across assigned accounts.
  • Increase the number of ongoing deals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
