About The Position

This role involves optimizing and defining design and validation requirements for power electronics and high voltage systems. The engineer will predict inverter losses, heat rejection, and high voltage bus ripple and resonances. They will assess the impact of control strategies and design changes on component and system performance, and perform HTD, PTC, and Ripple Rejection Analysis. The position supports power electronics teams throughout program execution, from concept to production, and provides technical leadership in product development teams and supplier assessment activities for power inverters and high voltage buses. A key focus is on actively pursuing cost reduction, size reduction, and efficiency improvement. The role operates under a hybrid work policy, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the ability to report to a local office. Multiple positions are available.
