PRN - Virtual Physician Collaborator (Remote)
About The Position
Become a part of our caring community We are excited to offer the role of Virtual Physician Collaborator for CenterWell Medical Group, a new virtual care delivery group within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, Humana's Primary Care Organization. This group will provide virtual wraparound services to support patients when they cannot get in with their own PCP – closing gaps in care, ensuring timeless access to important medications and solving urgent clinical needs. This Virtual Physician Collaborator shares in our vision to improve health care in the communities we serve! As the Physician Collaborator, you will collaborate with our Nurse Practitioners to bridge gaps in care for patients that have had a recent fracture in the last 6 months. This role is remote, work from home requiring around 5 hours of work each month.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Mississippi
- Must reside in the state of Mississippi
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Board certification or Board Eligible
- 2+ years telemedicine/telehealth experience
Responsibilities
- Complete regular chart review and coordinate monthly meetings
- Serve as a resource for the Nurse Practitioners to ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with clinical leaders about quality of care, review of outcome data, procedure, and records issues
