The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, offering world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in conjunction with their primary care providers. Utilizing advanced technology and a team-based approach, the VMT provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Requirements

  • Completion of a master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
  • Maintaining active NCCPA certification
  • Currently licensed in CA with the possibility to obtain additional states
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • Ability to work afternoons and evenings (Current shifts range from starting at 7am-6pm PST or 11-10pm PST)
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills with the ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
  • Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
  • Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
  • Utilization of specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
