Virtual Monitor Tech
About The Position
The Virtual Monitor Tech (CVM tech) provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients identified as a risk to themselves or others using the appropriate virtual monitoring workflow and preventative measures. The Virtual Monitor Tech uses verbal redirection, communication with patient care staff, alarms and other techniques to safely redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors. In addition, at times the virtual monitor tech will also serve as a patient observer at the bedside. Requirements
- Basic computer operation skills
- Capable of monitoring multiple patients at one time and remain alert while on duty
- Effective communication skills to patients and staff
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
