About The Position

We are Lennar, a leading homebuilder dedicated to creating an extraordinary experience for our Homeowners, Communities, and Associates. As a Virtual Interior Designer I, you will be responsible for the design experience throughout the lifeline of a project, creating beautiful interior spaces for entire home models based on partner needs, standards, and quality requirements. This fast-paced role involves virtually staging models, collaborating with internal teams like Operations and Product/Engineering, and requires a genuine interest in staging and interior design with a willingness to learn and implement feedback. Previous experience in real estate, residential staging, or construction is highly recommended. This is a career with purpose, focused on building quality homes and meeting schedules.

Requirements

Interior Design and/or Architecture Degree or equivalent experience/background within interior design and real estate industries.
Ability to read construction drawings and architectural plans proficiently.
Tech-savvy – experience with Auto-CAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Revit preferred.
Experience in Airtable or a similar project management system is preferred.
Understanding of the residential construction industry and ability to adapt to changes.
Willingness to learn and implement critical feedback from partners and team members.
Excellent project & time management skills.
Ability to work with remote teams asynchronously, and in different time zones.
Energetic, creative team player who takes initiative and enjoys styling residential homes.
Critical thinking abilities and excellent multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in real estate, residential staging, or construction is highly recommended.
Residential merchandising or home staging background is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create entire home designs based on client needs and department standards.
Perform Space Planning, Lighting, and Product Selections (Wallpaper, wood trim, or wall tile).
Read and understand floor plans and/or architectural documents.
Deliver static renders and virtual tours by given due dates in various stages of the project lifeline.
Collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively across all internal teams, supporting team members when they are unavailable.
Manage multiple project timelines consecutively and meet deadlines.
Manage multiple projects consecutively and accurately update statuses across project management systems.
Style and merchandise models based off of a design presentation & specification document.
Perform quality checks and work closely with the Technical Designer and/or 3D ops team to ensure models meet industry standards.
Work closely with Project Managers to problem-solve technical errors and offer support.
Generate Virtual Tours (VT) as needed to support Technical Teams.
