This role, formerly known as "Investment Specialist" under the Mobile Advice Team, is now called Financial Planner within the Scotia Financial Planning team, part of the Global Asset Management Division. As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. You will act as a dedicated entrepreneur, leveraging external networks and centers of influence to grow your practice by building new and long-term relationships. Your priority is providing investment and financial planning advice to help clients meet their unique goals. You will enjoy the flexibility of meeting clients outside the office on a schedule that suits both you and them, while recognizing the value of working within the Scotiabank framework. Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, you will be responsible for driving investment sales and new client acquisition, adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements. You will also establish business development opportunities with prospects and clients within the assigned market area.
