This is a fixed-term assignment with an expected duration of approximately 8 months. The mission is intended to support a specific project and is expected to conclude upon its completion, subject to project requirements. So, what are the main responsibilities of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist in Netcompany? As a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist you will: Administer, maintain, and support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Terminal Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for end users across the institution. Manage and contribute to the lifecycle of standard workplace configurations, including the deployment, maintenance, testing, and continuous improvement of desktop and virtual desktop solutions. Design, package, test, and deploy applications using MSI packaging, App-V, and other application virtualization and distribution technologies in accordance with institutional standards. Provide technical expertise in remote computing architectures, supporting the design, integration, and optimisation of virtual workplace and remote access solutions. Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis related to VDI, terminal services, application delivery, and end-user computing platforms. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance with the clients IT policies, best practices, and service management processes while contributing to modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
