Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Security or IT
  • Minimum 5 years in a cybersecurity leadership or executive‑level role
  • Proven success guiding organizational security strategy or leading security programs
  • Deep understanding of risk management, compliance, security frameworks, and incident response
  • Ability to build long‑term, executive‑level security roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy
  • Exceptional problem‑solving, strategic analysis, and situational judgment
  • Demonstrated leadership influencing cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills—able to articulate complex technical issues to non‑technical audiences
  • High adaptability, resilience, and composure in dynamic threat environments
  • Flexibility to support urgent security escalations when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in related field (preferred).
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent senior‑level security credentials

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, refinement, and execution of incident response plans, including investigations and breach remediation.
  • Develop and oversee holistic security strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data.
  • Build security programs that align with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and organizational goals.
  • Deliver executive‑level guidance and communicate complex security concepts in business terms.
  • Drive security awareness programs that promote a culture of proactive risk management.
  • Manage third‑party vendor risk and ensure secure supply‑chain operations.
  • Present regular updates to senior leadership regarding risk, incidents, and overall security posture.
  • Partner with IT, architecture, and business leaders to integrate security into enterprise design and operations.
  • Monitor emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements to continuously refine security strategy.
