About The Position

The Virtual Care Coordinator supports telehealth and remote patient monitoring programs by ensuring efficient operations, patient safety, and high-quality virtual care. This role coordinates between patients, providers, and IT teams while supporting workflow improvements and program performance.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of telehealth, remote monitoring, or patient care experience
  • Experience with EMR systems and virtual care platforms
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to manage patient safety concerns

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telehealth program development and staff training
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Certifications: Not required (preferred if relevant)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate telehealth visits, monitor schedules, and ensure smooth session flow
  • Perform remote patient observation and report/escalate clinical concerns
  • Track patient data, safety indicators, and document interventions
  • Support quality assurance, analyze trends, and improve workflows
  • Provide real-time technical support and train staff on telehealth platforms
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational teams
  • Maintain reports, metrics, and ensure compliance with privacy standards
