About The Position

Join our Sales team as a Virtual Account Manager and play a key role in driving commercial success across mid-size and large customer accounts. Through customer-focused sales activities, strategic account development, and the effective use of SFDC, you will help customers access innovative laboratory solutions that support better health for more people. In this remote-based position, you will cover a territory including Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico and preference will be giving to candidates in the same time zone as the territory. This position covers the South Central, including TX, NM, OK.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering; advanced education is beneficial
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within laboratory, process-based, or Life Science environments
  • Hands-on experience with SFDC and other CRM platforms
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities
  • Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance across Lab Weighing, Liquid Handling, Lab Filtration, Microbiology, Lab Water, and Service offerings
  • Promote Sartorius products and services within an assigned territory, product portfolio, or customer base to achieve sales and revenue objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with overall market and growth strategies
  • Utilize SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities while maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data
  • Analyze SFDC data to identify customer trends, generate insights, and monitor sales performance
  • Drive the adoption of newly launched products and services and proactively track the success of sales activities
  • Assess customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Develop and execute account plans while coordinating internal resources to support account objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase market presence and develop strategies to grow business within assigned accounts
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory
  • Regularly evaluate customer potential and develop plans to convert opportunities into business growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support long-term partnerships
