About The Position
DARCARS Volvo of Fairfax is now hiring a Virginia State Safety Inspector. Join the team at Volvo of Fairfax, part of the DARCARS Automotive Group! We're looking for an experienced Virginia State Safety Inspector who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a family-owned dealership that's been serving the community since 1977.
Requirements
- Valid Virginia State Safety Inspector License
- Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Perform Virginia State safety inspections and vehicle repairs to dealership standards
- Complete used vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
- Provide accurate repair estimates
- Stay current with the latest automotive technology through ongoing training
