About The Position

The VIP Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional personalized service and ensuring all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently. This role involves assisting high-level casino guests from their arrival to their departure, aiming to exceed their expectations. The representative must possess knowledge of all hotel/casino facilities, services, special events, and local attractions. A key aspect of the role is initiating and engaging in professional and friendly conversations while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer knowledge (6 months experience).
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift (average 8-hour shift).
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke.
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in a second language.
  • One year of experience in a front desk or guest service field.
  • Ability to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Check-in Rio Rewards guests demonstrating VIP Service Standards and Assessment form requirements.
  • Greet high-level guests as they enter Registration, offer refreshments, engage in non-business related conversations, and expedite guest service processes.
  • Distribute mail and information as directed by Management.
  • Input same-day room reservations via telephone/casino personnel, gathering necessary information and obtaining details from appropriate casino personnel when required.
  • Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries.
  • Provide concierge services for guests as requested, maintaining accurate logs of services such as spa appointments, shows, and dinner reservations.
  • Arrange transportation and maintain an appropriate log.
  • Prepare VIP arrival lists and block rooms as they become available.
  • Ensure guest information (address, phone, guest profiles, preferences) is updated and accurate.
  • Settle accounts upon check-out to the correct folio in accordance with comp criteria and casino host input.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Registration area and report maintenance issues.
  • Assist with special projects when time permits.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
