About The Position

Grieco Chevrolet of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a VIP Exchange Specialist to join our dynamic and growing Sales Team. The role of the ideal candidate will be to generate vehicle exchange opportunities from the service drive and equity mining and convert them into new vehicle demonstrations. This is a prepared, targeted role-not a floor position.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a dealership or showroom setting.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Must be willing to take on any other duties assigned.
• Integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic required.
• Must have a willing to learn mentality.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review the next day's service schedule every afternoon and build a written target plan: run each R.O. through automotiveMastermind, identify equity, payment-improvement, warranty-expiration, high-mileage positions and prepare a specific exchange proposal (current vehicle, equity, in-stock replacement and projected payment) for each target
• Work the service drive during write-up hours. Present the exchange to targeted customers at write-up and set the demonstration while their vehicle is in the shop
• Work advisor referrals and walk-in opportunities: large estimates, declined work, aged units, lease returns
• Work daily Mastermind equity and behavior alerts beyond the service lane: coordinate outbound appointments with the Sales BDC
• Land the customer on a unit, complete the demo and hand off to a desk manager with the full workup
• Log every touch and outcome in eLEADS same day. Follow up on unconverted presentations within 24 hours
