About The Position

The VIP Driver provides safe, comfortable, and professional transportation to VIPs of Spotlight29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino, while delivering guest service in accordance with the company’s Five Star Experience mission and Service Standards. The driver transports passengers to and from locations designated by management and may transport guests between property entrances and nearby parking lots using company golf carts during peak periods and special events. Duties must follow company standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes picking up and dropping off passengers as scheduled; choosing safe, efficient routes using local-area knowledge and navigation tools; communicating with Valet Dispatch; assisting guests with luggage and accessibility needs; inspecting and cleaning vehicles; and completing required pre- and post-trip inspections. Drivers must operate vehicles safely and lawfully, maintain guest confidentiality, know casino property information and offerings, and help with vehicle detailing, maintenance logs, and vendor deliveries as needed. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. The position is on call, with a salary of $23.50 per hour. The work may involve multiple locations and requires flexibility to work any hours, including weekends and holidays, and availability for emergency calls 24/7.

Requirements

At least one year of experience as a limousine driver, chauffeur, or in a related role; experience must be documented.
Ability to operate a limousine or shuttle safely.
Excellent interpersonal and guest-service skills.
Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor and to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with guests, team members, and management.
Driving record must not include serious moving violations, multiple moving violations, DUI, or a suspended license.
Must be insurable to drive company and guest vehicles.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass periodic random drug screens.
Must hold a current commercial Class C or Class B license with passenger endorsement.
Must pass a background suitability investigation and obtain a Tribal Gaming License and all other applicable certifications and licenses.
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Responsibilities

Promote the Spotlight29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino Five Star Experience service mission and standards.
Pick up and drop off passengers at scheduled times as directed by management.
Transport passengers safely to their destinations and transport guests between property entrances and adjacent parking lots using company golf carts.
Use local-area knowledge, GPS, and/or mapping applications to choose safe and efficient routes.
Communicate clearly with Valet Dispatch and seek guidance about unusual situations when possible before acting.
Assist guests with luggage and assist guests with disabilities, including assembling wheelchairs and scooters and helping guests with belongings and getting in and out of vehicles.
Inspect vehicles before and after shifts and complete pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations.
Clean vehicles inside and out before use and at the conclusion of each trip; lock vehicles after each run and when unattended, and never leave a vehicle unattended with passengers aboard.
Operate vehicles safely, attentively, and in compliance with traffic laws and regulations; remain patient and calm in heavy traffic and adverse weather.
Maintain responsibility for guest safety and satisfaction, demonstrate excellent guest service, and treat guests and team members courteously.
Detail vehicles, assist with vehicle maintenance logs, and deliver transportation vehicles to vendors as needed.
Know directions, casino property information, and gaming and non-gaming offerings, events, and promotions; provide information and assistance to guests.
Maintain complete confidentiality regarding conversations and occurrences involving guests and passengers.
