About The Position

The VIP Coordinator is responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with VIP guests, representing the casino professionally at events, and coordinating functions related to Player Development. This role involves assisting with comps, organizing events, participating in marketing campaigns, providing complimentary amenities, managing marketing information, and advising guests on property events. The position requires adherence to all gaming regulations and policies, as well as maintaining reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in the casino industry promoting games and focusing on guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated understanding of casino rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in guest services, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Must be able to apply superior service quality characteristics – courteous, prompt, professional, and confidential.
  • Ability to use sound judgment, make quick decisions, and deal with difficult guests.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel programs.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform data entry.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and calmly.
  • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of gaming regulations is a plus.
  • Synkros system knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Develops and sustains relationships with VIP guests.
  • Represents the casino in a professional and respectful manner at on and off-property events.
  • Coordinates all functions related to Player Development with the Director of Marketing and Player Development Manager.
  • Assist Casino Host with issuing comps, organizing events, and general administrative duties.
  • Participates in telemarketing and direct mail campaigns targeting guests for VIP invitations.
  • Provides complimentary amenities to guests who attained the necessary level of play.
  • Facilitates effective management of marketing information throughout the department and casino.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the casino facility and current and upcoming events on property; advises guests and employees on events.
  • Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
