VIP Cast Members are the ambassadors of the VIP experience, responsible for positive guest interactions, friendly and efficient service, and ensuring guests feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed. They take guest orders, prepare drinks, deliver food, handle payments, operate the cash register, and maintain cleanliness in the VIP lounge, auditoriums, and washrooms.

Requirements

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience working as a server.
  • Superior understanding of hospitality and customer service.
  • Proven ability to deliver an exceptional Guest Experience.
  • Proven problem-solving and quick-thinking skills in fast-paced situations.
  • Math skills and computer literacy.
  • Extended periods of time standing, walking, bending, carrying, and assisting with bartending tasks.
  • A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Smart Serve Certification.
  • Being of legal age to serve alcohol in fully licensed venues.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of a second language is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically receiving guests in the VIP lounge and auditoriums, engaging in friendly conversation to set the tone for a personalized VIP experience.
  • Selling and up-selling food and drinks to maximize tip potential.
  • Preparing the service environment by setting tables, laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments, and performing other preparation tasks.
  • Serving food and alcohol (beer and wine) to guests seated in the lounge and auditoriums.
  • Staying updated on current menu options, specialties, and menu deviations, and sharing in-depth menu expertise with guests.
  • Washing glassware and utensils after each use, maintaining a clean and well-organized service area, and performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Utilizing training from Smart Serve Ontario to determine if a guest has been over-served alcohol.
