Violin Teacher - Orange County, CA
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Violin teacher to teach part-time for their Lake Forest, CA school, Glee Music Academy. The position requires in-person instruction at the studio. The ability to teach additional instruments such as viola, cello, or piano is a plus. The current need is for a teacher to take over existing students with lessons scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 4-8pm. Teachers can set their availability within these hours, but consistency is appreciated, and candidates with greater availability will be given preference. Experience with students with mental and intellectual disabilities, including those who are homebound and taught virtually or in-home, is preferred. Successful candidates will possess a strong music background, evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. They should also demonstrate a love for teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. The pay rate is $32-$36 per hour, commensurate with experience. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 30 days, and health benefit packages are offered to both part-time and full-time employees.
