About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and professional violin teacher to teach part-time at the Creative Music Center in Monroe, CT. The Creative Music Center is a NAMM Top 100 Dealer and has been for 12 consecutive years. This position requires in-person instruction. The ability to teach viola and other string instruments is a plus. Teachers have the flexibility to set their availability within the center's operating hours, but consistency is valued, and candidates with greater availability will be given preference. The role involves instructing students in violin, with potential for other string instruments.

Requirements

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching.
• Experience working with young musicians.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.
• Resume and brief cover letter submitted through the application portal.
