About The Position
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), a part of the Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), is seeking an experienced Vintage US Coin Grader. The ideal candidate will possess high accuracy, integrity, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The selected candidate will receive training based on NGC's numismatic grading standards. NGC is the world's leading and largest third-party coin certification service, having graded over 55 million coins in its 30+ years of operation. It is the official grading service for the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and the American Numismatic Association (ANA).
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of technical numismatic knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of various eras of minting techniques, metal alloys, counterfeit detection, and coin alteration.
- Ability to accurately and consistently grade rare and collectible coins by using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale.
- Experience in variety attribution and authentication.

- Travel domestically and internationally for business functions.
