About The Position

The Vietnamese Restaurant Manager is responsible to supervise a shift team and be responsible and accountable for administration, operation and the direct management of the Vietnamese Venue.

Requirements

Ability to analyze and interpret operation results.
Ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure.
Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.
Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or Asian language.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge and experience in Micros, Microsoft Office Programs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff. To include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
Review departmental status with Manager.
Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
