About The Position
We are looking for individuals who speak both Vietnamese and English fluently and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping those who do not speak English. If you meet the requirements listed below and are looking for the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis, we are interested in seeing your resume. This is for in-person interpreting.
Requirements
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English
- Have informal or professional interpretation experience
- Have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Nice To Haves
- Interpreting or language proficiency certification
- 6 months+ experience
- Community interpreting experience
