About The Position

The V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) is a program run by Business France, the French government agency, allowing young professionals from the European Economic Area to work for a French company outside of France for a limited period. Participants have a special V.I.E status and are not Ipsen employees. This role involves supporting Pharmacovigilance activities across the Americas region, ensuring compliance with global PV requirements and local regulations, and contributing to patient safety worldwide. The position is based in Boston, MA, USA, within the Global Patient Safety (GPS) department, for an 18-month VIE Contract.

Requirements

Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, or the pharmaceutical industry.
Fluent in English.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a global, matrix environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support oversight of Pharmacovigilance activities across the Americas region.
Partner with Ipsen affiliates and external partners to ensure compliance with global PV requirements and local regulations.
Coordinate follow-up actions arising from regional governance meetings.
Review monthly Pharmacovigilance reports and support compliance monitoring activities.
Assist with Patient Data Collection Systems (PDCS) and Digital Media PV compliance reviews.
Support audit preparation, quality initiatives, and implementation of global PV processes.
Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.
