About The Position

Veteos is a video production company that works exclusively in the veterinary industry, focusing on pets. They are seeking a full-time Videographer/Editor to join their growing, award-winning team. The role involves creating short videos for clients, often following existing style and structure for veterinary practices' marketing needs. Responsibilities include filming and editing videos to align with style guidelines while creatively capturing client specifics. Additional projects will involve videos for businesses within the veterinary industry, such as pharmaceuticals, pet food, pet insurance, and technology service providers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working in a creative, team-based environment or freelancing.
  • Ability to work in an independent, yet collaborative role.
  • Ability to take a project from supplied script/concept to completion.
  • Ability to work within a time budget.
  • Strong organization skills for file management and project structure.
  • Ability to incorporate internal and client feedback into revisions.
  • Comfortable working independently as a one-person crew, filming video footage on-site at veterinary practices and other locations.
  • Experience filming 'on-location' and with natural lighting while maintaining high production values.
  • Ability to direct non-professional talent to get action shots that appear natural.
  • Experienced in lighting and audio setup for interviews.
  • Strong on-the-fly decision-making skills to resolve complications during filming.
  • Proficient in basic color grading.
  • Confident in utilizing After Effects assets within Premiere Pro.
  • Physical ability to walk and/or stand on your feet throughout a normal workday.
  • Physical ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs. and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly throughout a normal workday.
  • Must currently reside in Denver, Colorado, or the surrounding area.

  • Advanced experience in color grading is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Filming 'on-location' and with natural lighting while maintaining high production values.
  • Directing non-professional talent to get natural-looking action shots.
  • Setting up lighting and audio for interviews.
  • Making on-the-fly decisions to resolve complications during filming.
  • Incorporating internal and client feedback into revisions.
  • Managing file management and project structure with strong organization skills.
  • Basic color grading.
