About The Position

This is an in-office position where the employee would be responsible for assisting customers through on-screen video experiences using Video Teller Machines (ATMs typically located in our drive-thru locations that have additional video capabilities). This position must be able to proactively engage in professional, positive and productive communication with customer who are utilizing Video Teller Machines at branch and remote locations. This position will perform teller-like duties with some differences and will assist with administrative functions as assigned. This position is responsible for consistent customer contact via video and providing broad-based banking assistance. The Video/ITM Teller is responsible for following bank regulations and procedures while maintaining protection of the bank’s assets. Must possess a clear understanding of banking operations, guidelines, and products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Proficient in ten-key skills and computer experience
  • Attention to detail to process transactions with efficiency and accuracy
  • Comfortable on video assisting customers at remote locations
  • Must be able to provide step by step guidance of transactions to customers
  • Properly identifying customer as outlined in procedures
  • Processing deposits to checking and savings accounts
  • Monitoring deposit amounts and examining documents for negotiability
  • Providing other transactions which may include account balance inquires, cashing checks, processing payments, and other account related transactions
  • Quickly, accurately, and efficiently process all transactions through Video Teller Program
  • Responsible for proper item storage and protection of customer information
  • Adhere to Video/ITM Teller dress code
  • Safeguard customer information and negotiable instruments to according to bank procedures
  • Promote the improvement of Stockman Bank through quality customer service, promotion of products, professionalism in conduct and diligent work ethic
  • Greets all customers pleasantly and make them feel welcome and comfortable
  • Effectively handle customer questions and problems and escalations as needed
  • Effectively listening and observing skills to help identify and resolve customer needs
  • Function in proper office setting with proper attire/appearance for video component of the position
  • Spot sales opportunities and refer business consistently, cross-sell other bank services whenever opportunity arises
  • Keep up to date on pricing and products
  • Relay customer comments and/or complaints to the Video/ITM Supervisor
