About The Position

The Video Technician / Host is a flex position that supports both the Video Department and regular Host operations based on daily business needs. Employees in this position will be trained to perform Video Technician responsibilities but will also be required to perform standard Host duties. Scheduling within the Video Department is not guaranteed, and employees may be scheduled primarily as a Host depending on staffing levels, operational needs, events, or business volume. This position requires flexibility between Video Technician and Host responsibilities. Employees should understand that Video Technician shifts are assigned based on operational needs and are not guaranteed. Employees may be scheduled as a Host even after receiving Video Technician training. Employees are expected to remain proficient in both Video Technician and Host responsibilities. Management may adjust assignments during a shift based on staffing, customer volume, or operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive, video, electronics, or technical experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and prepare video recording equipment for daily operations.
  • Monitor in-vehicle cameras, recording systems, power connections, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot basic video system and equipment issues.
  • Download, organize, verify, and upload customer video files.
  • Ensure customer video and telemetry files are complete and correctly assigned.
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to management.
  • Maintain video equipment and an organized work area.
  • Follow Video Department procedures and SOPs.
  • Perform all regular Host responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assist with customer check-in, guest flow, and general customer service.
  • Support instructors, management, and other departments during daily operations.
  • Assist with corporate groups, Ride Along, Photo Booth, Discovery Laps, Escorts, Video Checkout, Cashier, and other operational needs.
