About The Position

As a Video Systems Engineer, you will work alongside the Senior Video Systems Engineer to support and maintain the advanced video systems that drive live events, broadcasts, and in-venue productions. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of our video infrastructure while contributing to system improvements and future technology initiatives, including the evolution of our new stadium. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a video engineer, broadcast engineer, or systems technician supporting live production environments such as broadcast trucks, touring productions, stadiums, arenas, major venues, or large-scale live events.
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting professional video and broadcast systems used in live production environments.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard broadcast and production systems such as Ross Video, Evertz, Imagine, Sony, Wave Central, EVS, Daktronics, Riedel, VITEC, or comparable platforms.
  • Knowledge of modern broadcast and IP-based video workflows including UHD/4K, HDR, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI, SDI routing, IP routing, and common encoding and streaming protocols.
  • Experience supporting control rooms, broadcast trucks, fly-pack systems, or large-scale venue production infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of intercom systems, KVM, IPTV, wireless camera systems, control systems (Q-SYS or similar), and LED display technology.
  • Ability to maintain organized equipment inventories and assist with system documentation, signal flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues in fast-paced live production environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in live event production environments including but not limited to broadcast, entertainment, touring, truck, or house of worship is highly valued.
  • Experience reading or contributing to system drawings using tools such as Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar documentation platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in sports production or in-venue is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, broadcast partners, and production crews.
  • Ability to balance event support, engineering projects, and system maintenance simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, optimization, maintenance, and repair of video and broadcast systems across Nissan Stadium, Vanderbilt Health Football Club, and Titans House. Systems include but are not limited to the stadium control room, BETMGM studio and control room, cameras, intercom, KVM, IPTV, AV systems, fly-packs, and control systems.
  • Assist the Senior Video Systems Engineer with engineering and technical oversight for game day, major events, and special events, including system setup, patching, power coordination, and strike.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Video Systems Engineer and Titans Technology and Innovation teams, broadcast partners (CBS, FOX, ABC), local affiliates, and Titans internal departments to support projects, system maintenance, and event operations.
  • Coordinate with network operations centers (NOCs), transmission providers, and technical operations centers (TOCs) to support broadcast transmission and live event connectivity.
  • Help manage and maintain inventory of production and engineering assets used across stadium, studio, and ENG environments, including ARRI and Sony camera systems, Canon and Fujinon lenses, PTZ systems, and lighting equipment such as Aputure and ETC fixtures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and safety guidelines for video systems and production infrastructure.
  • Support the training and coordination of freelance engineers, technical specialists, and event crew as directed by the Senior Video Systems Engineer.
  • Contribute to the design, evaluation, testing, and implementation of video and broadcast systems for the New Nissan Stadium in collaboration with the Senior Video Systems Engineer and the broader technology team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Video Systems Engineer and the Senior Director of AV, Broadcast Technology, & Stadium Productions.
