About The Position

Macy’s is seeking a Summer Video Production Intern to support the Video team in producing content for digital, social, and marketing channels. This internship provides hands-on experience across the full production process, including pre - production planning, on-set production, and post-production editing and management

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
• Basic familiarity with video production equipment and workflows
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software preferred

Responsibilities

• Support studio and on-location shoots, including camera setup, lighting assistance, and general production support
• Assist with digital tech tasks such as media management, file transfers, and backing up footage
• Help organize production equipment and maintain on-set workflow
• Provide post-production support, including organizing footage, assisting with edits, and preparing assets for review.
• Create and complete a collaborative capstone project to be showcased at the end of the residency
