About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on, technically proficient Video Lead to support the Creative Agency Lead in managing the video production stream for our studio’s diverse portfolio of games. This role is pivotal in guiding our capture artists and video editors as they produce high-impact marketing and user acquisition assets—including trailers, gameplay showcases, and social media content—for PC, console, and mobile platforms. As the discipline's primary reference, you will oversee cinematic and gameplay capture, editing, pacing, and visual storytelling. You will balance hands-on production with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that our video team operates with high quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Requirements

Your CV must include a portfolio link or showreel demonstrating expertise in video editing, engine capture, and/or marketing asset production.
5+ years in video production, game capture, or trailer editing.
3+ years in a Lead or Senior role, involving mentorship and team coordination (ideally for teams of 5-10 people).
Advanced Unity Proficiency: This is the primary engine used by our team.
Strong ability to manage camera setup, lighting, and engine-based capture.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Airtable or Jira.
A sharp eye for cinematography, shot composition, and visual rhythm.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent ability to provide constructive feedback and solve technical problems under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to remain "hands-on" while managing team-wide production responsibilities.
Fluent written and verbal French and English skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Unreal Engine is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day video production stream, including task prioritization, blocker resolution, and timeline management.
Provide regular check-ins, constructive feedback, and growth support to capture artists and video editors.
Define production standards, naming conventions, and technical workflows; onboard new team members; and create documentation to facilitate training.
Assist the Creative Agency Lead in monitoring team workload, morale, and performance risks.
Produce high-quality video content for complex or high-priority projects.
Utilize deep knowledge of Unity and Unreal to capture in-game footage, manage camera setups, and troubleshoot technical constraints within game builds.
Apply a strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and sound design to final edits, ensuring assets are optimized for various platforms.
Continuously refine and document capture workflows to increase speed, clarity, and reliability.
Partner with the Creative Project Manager to assess briefs, estimate effort, and identify production risks.
Review all assets prior to stakeholder delivery, ensuring adherence to brand identity, art direction, and marketing objectives.
Provide precise, actionable feedback on shot composition, framing, staging, gameplay readability, and technical polish.
Collaborate with Marketing, User Acquisition, and Game teams to clarify constraints and align on the creative direction.
Serve as the technical bridge between stakeholders and the creative team, ensuring feedback is clearly communicated and implemented.
