Video Editor
About The Position
Aave Labs is looking for a Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality video content across our social and digital channels. You'll work closely with the Marketing team to bring Aave's products, ecosystem and brand to life through video. From short-form social content and product launches to events, interviews and longer-form storytelling, you'll help shape how Aave communicates through video. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong creative instincts who understands how to create content that feels native to social and can turn complex ideas into clear, engaging stories.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing and storytelling
- Experience creating content for social and digital channels
- Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, sound and visual storytelling
- Strong understanding of social platforms and internet culture
- Ability to work quickly across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
- Strong attention to detail and creative judgement

- Interest in crypto, DeFi and the Aave ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content across Aave's social and digital channels
- Create content across product launches, campaigns, events, interviews and the wider Aave ecosystem
- Turn raw footage and creative concepts into engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing and storytelling
- Work closely with Marketing, Design and other teams to bring creative ideas to life
- Adapt content and formats based on platform, audience and performance
- Stay on top of social trends, editing styles and emerging content formats
- Help evolve Aave's video style and maintain a consistently high creative standard
