About The Position

RingCentral is seeking a Video Editor (AI-Forward) to join their AI-first creative studio within RingCentral Marketing. This role involves transitioning workflows from traditional methods to AI, rebuilding creative production from the ground up. The team utilizes Premiere Pro and a node-based generative AI pipeline, emphasizing the integration of AI with traditional craft skills. Requirements

• Solutions-first mindset and a love of collaboration.
• Premiere Pro power user.
• Solid skills in After Effects, including templates, lower thirds, and light motion graphics.
• A strong eye for pacing, sound, and overall finish.
• Attention to detail.
• Hardwired for efficiency, with an understanding of how to minimize render times and technical bottlenecks.
• Passion for building AI skills and learning novel workflows, even with uncertain payoffs.
• Experience using generative AI for various workflow components.
• Ability to create engaging social edits.
• Familiarity with staying current on social media trends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with node-based AI tools like Flora or ComfyUI.
• Experience with proxy-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• 40% editing: creating finished, scroll-stopping, platform-ready content from raw footage, including talking-head, social, and short-form videos.
• 40% generative AI: creating and integrating AI image/video/voice into productions, building node-based workflows, and identifying manual steps that can be automated with AI.
• 10% on set: providing light shoot support at the Belmont office, including setup, lighting, audio, and capture.
• 10% miscellaneous tasks: performing motion-graphics polish, managing production chaos, and assisting with other project needs.
