About The Position

We’re hiring a Video Editor to create high-performing, engaging video content across social media, marketing, and training. This is not just editing — this is storytelling + performance. You’ll take raw footage and turn it into scroll-stopping short-form videos, clean, professional long-form content, and conversion-driven marketing assets. If you understand pacing, hooks, and retention, you’ll do well here.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with audio syncing & cleanup.
  • Experience with color correction.
  • Experience with social media exports.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Understanding of hooks, retention, and storytelling.
  • Ability to edit both fast-paced social content and clean corporate videos.
  • Ability to improve performance through editing.
  • Fast, organized, and reliable.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion graphics using After Effects.
  • Experience editing paid ads.
  • Experience editing brand storytelling content.
  • Understanding of engagement metrics.
  • Understanding of content performance.
  • Background in SaaS, Agencies, or E-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Turn raw footage into short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, training, explainers) content.
  • Optimize pacing, cuts, and structure for engagement and retention.
  • Add titles, lower thirds, and motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects and Canva.
  • Maintain strong brand consistency across videos.
  • Clean and balance audio, ensuring dialogue clarity, noise reduction, and leveling.
  • Add licensed music and sound effects.
  • Perform color correction and grading for a consistent look.
  • Export videos for various platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn) handling different aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and optimizing for compression, codecs, and file size.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and creative directors.
  • Manage feedback using Frame.io and iterate quickly, aiming for ≤ 2 revision rounds.
  • Monitor performance metrics like watch time, engagement, and CTR to improve edits.
  • Organize and prep raw footage.
  • Add graphics, music, and polish to videos.
  • Export multiple platform versions.
  • Collaborate on feedback and revisions.
  • Track and archive projects properly.
