About The Position

RingCentral is seeking a Video Editor (AI-Forward) to join their AI-first creative studio within RingCentral Marketing. This role involves transitioning workflows from traditional methods to AI, rebuilding creative production from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be skilled in video editing, embrace AI in production, and possess strong traditional craft skills. The team operates with a fast-paced, AI-integrated approach, using tools like Premiere Pro and generative AI pipelines.

Requirements

• Premiere Pro power user.
• Solid skills in After Effects, including templates, lower thirds, and light motion graphics.
• A strong eye for pacing, sound, and overall finish.
• Attention to detail.
• Hardwired for efficiency, with an understanding of optimizing render times.
• Ability to manage technical bottlenecks to maximize creative time.
• Passion for building AI skills and learning novel workflows, even with uncertain payoffs.
• Experience using generative AI in various workflow parts.
• Ability to create engaging social edits.
• Experience with proxy-based workflows.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with node-based AI tools like Flora or ComfyUI (Flora is the primary tool, ComfyUI is in the lab).

Responsibilities

• 40% editing: creating finished videos from raw footage for talking-head, social, and short-form content.
• 40% generative AI: creating and integrating AI image/video/voice into productions, building node-based workflows, and identifying manual steps to automate with AI.
• 10% on set: providing light shoot support in the Belmont office, including setup, lighting, audio, and capture.
• 10% miscellaneous tasks: performing motion-graphics polish, managing production chaos, and assisting where needed.
