About The Position

BARE International is seeking a freelance Video Editor specializing in blurring and masking to work on project reports. This role involves reviewing raw video footage, identifying sensitive content, and applying precise blurring and masking techniques to conceal information such as faces, computer screens, documents, license plates, PII, and client-specific sensitive content. The editor will perform frame-by-frame masking, use motion tracking, and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all confidential information is hidden. The position also requires maintaining organized project files, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand specific privacy requirements. The role includes editing the report alongside video masking.

Requirements

Graduate with min. 1+ yrs. experience in video editing, content editing, proofreading, quality review, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to demonstrate responsible, ethical and honest behaviour.

Responsibilities

Edit project reports for accuracy in consistency/relevance of content, spelling, language usage, grammar, etc.
Review raw video footage and identify content requiring redaction or concealment.
Apply accurate blurring, masking, and object-tracking techniques to hide faces, individuals, computer screens, devices, documents, confidential information, license plates, personal identifiable information (PII), and client-specific sensitive content.
Perform frame-by-frame masking where required to ensure complete coverage.
Use motion tracking tools to maintain accurate masking on moving subjects or objects.
Verify that all sensitive information remains consistently concealed throughout the video.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure no confidential information is visible in the final output.
Flag ambiguities, unusual content, or potential compliance concerns during the review process.
Maintain organized project files and version control.
Deliver edited videos within agreed timelines while meeting quality standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project-specific masking and privacy requirements.
Edit the report along with video masking.
