About The Position

The Video and Content Producer is responsible for the end-to-end video output for the Pensacola Ice Flyers. This is a hands-on role requiring shooting and editing skills to create hype and campaign videos, player/coach/staff/fan features, video board content, and live video execution during game days. The producer will report to the Director of Brand and Creative and collaborate with other content creators to produce engaging video content for fans. The expectation is to be actively involved in production, on-site when necessary, and to create unique video content within the league.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on videography and editing skills, with the ability to manage a project from shoot to final export.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Confidence in shooting with DSLR or mirrorless camera kits, as well as phone cameras for quick-turn content.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure during live events and navigate an arena during a game.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage footage, deadlines, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort working nights, weekends, holidays, and the full home and away schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit campaign anchor videos, theme night reveals, player and staff features, hype pieces, and recap content.
  • Produce the standard campaign video package, including an anchor video and various cutdowns (15-second, 10-second, and 6-second teasers) with applied taglines.
  • Build motion graphics and animation for the video board and LED screens, utilizing the brand kit and motion templates provided by the Director of Brand and Creative.
  • Maintain the footage library, project files, naming conventions, and export specifications for easy asset retrieval and reuse.
  • Create intro videos, player intros, hype reels, and sponsor video features for the video scoreboard and video walls.
  • Contribute video elements to the game production script.
  • Confirm all video board and in-arena video assets are finalized, approved, and queued before doors open, aligning with the gameday script.
  • Execute live video elements during the game under the direction of the Director of Brand and Creative, ensuring timely playback of video content.
  • Capture in-game video for next-day recaps and social media distribution.
  • Produce contracted partner video assets, including video board features, sponsored videos, and activation recaps, according to the sponsorship fulfillment calendar.
  • Capture on-site sponsor photo and video content as required by partner contracts.
  • Coordinate with the Graphics and Content Producer and the Social Media and Community Relations Coordinator for shared shoots, asset handoffs, and real-time gameday needs.
  • Coordinate marketing days with coaching staff and players.
  • Assist in managing video interns and gameday videographers.
  • Represent the Ice Flyers at home games and selected community events to fulfill content requirements.
