About The Position

Interviews clients to determine immediate and crisis intervention needs. Develops short and long range goals to promote and enhance their self-sufficiency and change behaviors that have become barriers to reaching that goal. Staff will do this by providing a case plan that meets that individual's needs. This position requires a high level of empathy and sensitivity to all incoming inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An additional six (6) months experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software and Word Processing software.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
  • Employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers; or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
