When crisis hits our community, a Victim Advocate is often the first steady, empathetic voice a person hears. This position provides critical, immediate crisis response, emotional support, and social service navigation to individuals navigating the physical and emotional aftermath of a crime or tragedy. Beyond direct crisis outreach, this professional acts as a key operational pillar for the department—helping manage the victim services volunteer program, protecting constitutional victim rights, and maintaining meticulous data tracking to sustain our community-facing programs. If you have a genuine concern for tragedy survivors, a high degree of personal integrity, and the emotional strength to guide people from crisis to stability, we invite you to apply.
