About The Position

The Vice Principal (Secondary Level) at Atlantic City High School is a 12-month administrative position responsible for establishing an educational climate that ensures the health, safety, and well-being of the school community. This role involves developing positive student behavior, providing and maintaining quality instruction and related services, supervising professional staff, developing an appropriate instructional program, working with staff on curriculum development and evaluation, and cooperating with the principal in all phases of the educational program.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate
  • At least five years of successful teaching experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development and school improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills to use the computer as a management tool
  • Required criminal history background check
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
