About The Position

Blackstone Harvest is dedicated to public market real assets and energy infrastructure equities platform. Our focus is essential infrastructure and companies. This role will support Blackstone Harvest, Blackstone’s dedicated public market real assets and energy infrastructure equities platform, and lead the end-to-end investment management process across a portfolio of listed infrastructure, utilities, energy transition, and other real asset equities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting fundamental equity research and financial analysis in the North American public infrastructure sector, including valuation, risk assessment, and investment recommendations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building and maintaining detailed financial models and cash flow projections using Microsoft Excel, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preparing internal and external presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate investment strategies, portfolio performance, and market insights to senior-level management and clients.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing industry-specific research platforms such as Wood Mackenzie, S&P Capital IQ, and East Daley Analytics to gather market intelligence, forecast sector trends, and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Bloomberg Terminal to access and analyze real-time market data, conduct sector benchmarking, and perform comprehensive company financial analysis for investment decision-making.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing sustainability analytics platforms such as MSCI ESG Manager and Sustainalytics to evaluate environmental, social, and governance risk factors and integrate them into infrastructure investment strategies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting regulatory and policy research, including analysis of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Department of Energy (DOE), and state-level infrastructure regulations, to assess compliance requirements and identify potential impacts on investment opportunities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience drafting and publishing quarterly investor letters to update clients on portfolio performance, market and industry trends, and investment positioning, using Microsoft Word for content creation and formatting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience engaging with management teams and company executives, both to obtain strategic, operational, and financial insights and to provide feedback on performance, governance, and market positioning from an investor perspective.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with sell-side research analysts and investment analysts to execute investment strategies and manage portfolio risk.
  • Experience can be concurrent.

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations, may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental and quantitative research on companies, sectors, and macroeconomic trends.
  • Utilize econometric models, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, scenario modeling, and statistical tools to assess valuation, growth potential, and risk factors.
  • Design and implement portfolio strategies that balance return objectives with risk constraints.
  • Apply optimization techniques, factor analysis, and diversification principles using advanced portfolio management tools and Bloomberg Terminal.
  • Monitor market, credit, and operational risks using statistical risk models, Value-at-Risk (VaR) calculations, and stress testing frameworks.
  • Adjust portfolio exposures based on evolving market conditions and regulatory developments.
  • Coordinate compliance processes with operations teams.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and best execution standards.
  • Present investment strategies, performance updates, and market outlooks to senior-level leadership, clients, and institutional investors.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Supervise and mentor junior-level analysts, guiding research methodologies, financial modeling techniques, and professional development.
  • Facilitate collaboration across research, trading, and operations teams.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
