About The Position

The Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates the origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of FIC (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities) products and financing to a diverse range of institutional clients. These clients include financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity firms, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. The role is based in New York, NY.

Requirements

  • Series 7 & 63 licenses.
  • Proficient experience in Fixed Income.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating with various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be a team player, anticipating and solving problems for the group.
  • A consistent sense of urgency and drive to perform at a high level daily.
  • Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase Deutsche Bank services.
  • Detail-oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment.
  • Ability to be a senior role model for junior staff.
  • Ability to understand and interpret market trends.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Covering important institutional clients at a senior level within the Financing Coverage Group, focusing on Distribution.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners, senior PMs, principals, and capital markets professionals at client organizations.
  • Collaborating with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for clients.
  • Engaging in strategic planning, budgeting, and client wallet share analysis.
  • Generating new revenue opportunities within the securitized, private, and alternate capital space.
  • Driving new business development, particularly within the Financing Coverage Group.
  • Driving sales growth by creating new and developing existing relationships.
  • Generating new revenue opportunities for the FX business.
  • Thinking strategically about the business and staying informed about market themes and trends.
