About The Position

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is seeking a Vice President in New York, New York to coordinate global quarterly business reviews with senior leadership. This role involves reporting on the Growth Equity and Infrastructure operating model, investment progress, pacing, revenue growth, fundraising, competitive landscape, timelines, sizing, and LP investor engagement. The position will also assist in implementing a deal manufacturing tool (DealCloud) to improve the Growth Equity and Infrastructure company database, priority opportunities, and investment pipeline. The Vice President will serve as the Global Growth Investment Committee and Infrastructure Secretary, ensuring investment meetings meet requirements by monitoring quorum, documenting approvals for funding and exiting investments, reviewing minutes, and managing membership changes. Additionally, the role includes managing quarterly reporting for Global Senior Management, evaluating risk reporting, control group updates, people, and Committee updates. The Vice President will lead internal strategy presentations, monitor and attend external speaking engagements and panels, and review headcount and investor capacity analysis to monitor current activity, ensure targets are met, and plan for future capacity. A key responsibility is engaging in the Growth rebranding project, including a redesigned website, marketing materials, and content strategy. The role also guides the implementation of internal and external technology solutions globally to enable the Growth Equity and Infrastructure team to scale valuations, forecasts, and portfolio risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role
  • Managing internal operating budget, including compensation and non-compensation related expenditure
  • Processing large volumes of information and data with critical and completing deadlines
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and financial and ESG resource tools (such as Bloomberg)
  • Experience with financial markets including equity markets
  • Working across various teams and departments including Technology, Compliance, Operations, and Legal to build consensus
  • Working on audit-related projects to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Driving operating efficiency through engineering and efficiency projects
  • Assessing employee and investor performance through quantitative and qualitative KPIs and inputting those into compensation determinations
  • Managing strategy including recruiting, employee talent development, performance assessment, promotion and compensation
  • Communicating complex financial terminology and issues to various internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Vendor Management
