About The Position

The Fay Group is seeking a Vice President (VP), HR Business Partners to join their team. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for providing HR leadership to align HR initiatives with enterprise and business unit strategies. The VP will consult with senior business leaders, drive key people initiatives with a hands-on, collaborative approach, and serve as a trusted advisor. The position is accountable for developing and executing HR programs in a dynamic environment, advocating for best practices and cost-effective methodologies. The VP will lead a team of HR Business Partners, working in partnership with the business to manage Employee Relations, HR & Workplace Policies, Performance and Talent Management, including policy administration, regulatory compliance, data capture, reporting, and metrics. The role also collaborates across the HR Function on enterprise initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals, culture, values, and future organizational requirements. Additionally, the VP will manage and mentor the HR Business Partner Team, providing training, coaching, and guidance. Success requires balancing strategic planning with real-time execution, effective influencing skills, and strong business/financial acumen, with a broad base of HR experience. The contributions of this role will inform strategies to enhance the employee experience and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field required
  • 10+ years’ progressive experience in Human Resources in a business partner capacity to include developing and leading core HR processes
  • 7+ years’ experience managing people/ leading teams to include the acquisition and allocation of resources, performance management, and talent development
  • Direct experience supporting diverse business functions
  • Prior experience leading policy development and process/ workflow reviews
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience leading initiatives across a distributed organization structure, requiring effective management of diverse stakeholders
  • Thorough knowledge of federal/ state employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Depth of experience with HRIS platforms
  • Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong technical and financial acumen
  • Strength of leadership with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
  • Executive maturity with demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization to influence and drive required results

Responsibilities

  • Providing Human Resource (HR) leadership with the goal to align human resource initiatives with enterprise and business unit strategies.
  • Consulting with senior business leaders to drive key people initiatives with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
